POWERPRO-S POWER
DISTRIBUTION MODULE

With all of the physical design advantages of the basic Arens POWERPRO Power Distribution Module (PDM), the Arens POWERPRO-S adds the capability to actively manage power distribution to meet vehicle electrical system needs. This "Smart" power management capability provides vehicle designers with greater design flexibility resulting in significantly improved vehicle performance.

Some of the unique design features of the Arens POWERPRO-S PDM:

  • Supports "Smart" solid state relays and standard relays
  • Housing is sealed to IP67 standards to protect against weather and moisture
  • Integrated power management capability
  • CAN communication with flash reprogramming capability
  • Outputs include relays, smart relays and high-side drivers
  • LIN communication optional
  • Current monitoring on all outputs
  • Fuse status circuit reports the state of all fuses
  • Re-settable over-current and short circuit protection
  • Communicates on/off status of FET's regardless of load
  • "Wake-up" capability through CAN, IGN or discrete input
  • Options include:
    • USB diagnostic port
    • Motor drive H-bridge circuit
    • Status indicator LED's
    • Remote display
